Have a Nosey – Open Homes

We have a few hidden gems opening up just for h.Energy that you wouldn’t normally be able to see….

Come to the Steiner School on either Friday or Saturday, and check out their eco build.  Great for other schools wanting to get some ideas and tips, and also a beautiful place to hang out!

Claire’s Passive House in the centre of Hereford is open at 11am and also 6.30pm on Friday 12th – a Bauhaus-inspired structure with great energy savings!  And why not try the bike ride that will take you right there?

We have three other open homes too – Ferney Cottage for the stats enthusiasts, and Jim and Annie’s ‘nearly passive house‘ cattle barn conversion for those that love to have a nosey at a do-er-upper…

…And Earthworm Housing Cooperative will have an afternoon on the Saturday 13th – another beautiful spot, with loads of environmental features and a displaying from their neighbouring Applewood Permaculture.  You can hop in a liftshare from Hereford for this one – and it might even be a Tesla!

h.Energy is about having a great weekend whilst seeing some sustainability in action in Herefordshire. What takes your fancy?
